A survival horror game and remake of Resident Evil (1996) with updated game design and improved storytelling in which the player makes a choice of two military officials, Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, and navigates an elaborate mansion inhabited by undead adversaries in order to get to the bottom of the mystery surrounding the mansion and the undead within.
